This 1-hour course targets individuals ages 11-18. The course features a study guide, three video presentations, two activities, as well as a 10-question quiz. This course focuses on status crimes to include truancy, runaway and curfew violations. Topics discussed include risks associated with committing status offenses to include substance use, mental health concerns, and human trafficking, among others. Discussion includes brain development, coping skills, and the importance of accessing resources. Resources are provided to participants.
